BibleWrite · last updated November 2026

BibleWrite is a writing app that runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

The app has no analytics, tracking, or advertising.
Your documents and their contents never leave your device.
Preferences and your recent-files list are stored locally on your device.
When checking for updates, the Mac app contacts kinsman.cc only to retrieve the update feed; no personal data is sent.

iPhone & iPad

The iOS app also collects no personal information. It asks for a few permissions only when you use the matching feature:

Microphone & Speech Recognition — used only while voice listening is on, to detect Bible references you say aloud. Audio is transcribed by Apple's speech recognition service under Apple's privacy policy; it is never sent to us or stored by the app.
Camera & Photos — used only when you scan a page or pick a photo, to find Scripture references in it. The image is processed on your device and is not saved or uploaded.
Your documents are stored on your device and appear in the Files app under BibleWrite.

Because no data is collected, there is nothing to request, export, or delete from us.
