Kinsman Software — Kinsman Dash Cam. Last updated: 2026.
We do not collect your data
Kinsman Dash Cam runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or
transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising,
and no third-party tracking. Nothing you record ever leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share
or export it yourself.
What the app uses on your device
Camera — to record your trips. Recorded video is saved only on your
device (and, if you turn it on, in your own Photos library).
Microphone — used only if you turn on audio recording in Settings
(off by default). Audio is written only into your own trip videos on your device.
Location — used on-device to show your speed, draw your trip route on a
map, and (optionally) burn your speed into the video. Your location is never sent anywhere.
Photos — if you enable “Save to Photos,” trips are written to a
“Kinsman Dash Cam” album in your own photo library so you can keep them or free up
space in the app. This stays within your device/iCloud Photos and is governed by Apple.
All driver-assistance features (car, pedestrian and lane detection, blind-spot lighting,
lane-departure and speed-limit reading) run entirely on-device. No images or video are uploaded for
processing.
Data sharing & sale
We do not share or sell any data, because we do not collect any. There are no third-party SDKs
that collect data in this app.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
