I tapped Hee-Haw but my friend never got it.

Make sure both of you are registered (Settings → My Donkey Profile shows "Registered as +1…"). Also check that they haven't muted you — your status line will say "X is in DND" if they have.

The bray sound doesn't play when I get Hee-Hawed.

Open Settings tab → check that Play Sound is enabled. The bray also won't play for text-only messages from friends — those are silent on purpose.

I'm getting "Waiting" next to a friend forever.

That friend hasn't installed and registered Donkey yet. Tap the brown Invite button on their row to send a pre-filled SMS with a deep link that auto-connects them once they install.

I changed my display name but my friends still see the old one.

Names refresh from the canonical iCloud Profile on the next time the other person opens Contacts. The push-notification banner may still show your old name on already-received notifications — that's baked in at send time and can't be retroactively rewritten by Apple's push service.

Phone-number verification keeps failing.

The code is good for 10 minutes. Make sure the number is in international format (+1 first for US/Canada). If the SMS doesn't arrive, your carrier may be blocking short-code messages — try a different number or contact support.

Can I unsend a Hee-Haw?

No, sorry. Hee-Haws are atomic and final, like ringing a doorbell.

How do I delete my account / data?

1) Swipe-left → Delete on each friend so their app drops you.
2) Delete the app.
3) iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Donkey Hee-Haw → Delete Data to remove your CloudKit Profile.

What information about me leaves my phone?

See the Privacy Policy. Short version: your name, phone number, and any Hee-Haws/messages you send, all stored in your own iCloud (not on a Kinsman-owned server).
