Kinsman DeployKit replaces the scattered mess of terminal commands, scripts, and manual steps involved in shipping a macOS app. Load your project, walk through the checklist, and deploy — all from a single native interface.

One Dashboard, Every Step

• Interactive Checklist — Eight-item checklist covers project detection, app name, bundle ID, icon assets, build, code signature, distribution package, and submission.
• Fix Buttons — Each checklist item has an action button. Missing icon? Generate one. Unsigned? Fix it. Not built? Build it. One click per step.
• Deploy All — Run every remaining step in sequence with a single button.

Two Distribution Modes

• Direct Distribution — Build, sign with Developer ID, package as DMG, and notarize with Apple for direct download outside the App Store.
• App Store — Archive, export, and upload to App Store Connect. Supports both Apple ID and API key authentication.

Xcode & SPM Projects

• Xcode Projects — Detects schemes and configurations from .xcodeproj files. Builds with xcodebuild.
• Swift Package Manager — Detects Package.swift executables. Builds with swift build and auto-bundles into a .app.
• Auto-Detection — Parses app name, bundle ID, existing icons, built bundles, and distribution packages from your project directory.

AI Icon Generation

• Claude-Powered — Describe your app and pick a style (minimal, skeuomorphic, gradient, playful). DeployKit generates an SVG icon and converts it to all required sizes.
• Preview & Accept — Review the generated icon before committing. Regenerate with a different prompt or style if needed.
• Full Icon Pipeline — Creates .iconset, .icns, and Asset Catalog entries automatically.

Code Signing & Notarization

• Auto-Detect Identities — Finds your Developer ID and distribution certificates from the keychain.
• Hardened Runtime — Applies hardened runtime and sandbox entitlements automatically.
• Notarization — Submits to Apple's notary service and staples the ticket on success.
• Validation — Checks code signatures and identifies fixable issues.

Credential Management

• Apple ID + App-Specific Password — Traditional authentication for notarization and App Store uploads.
• App Store Connect API Key — Recommended key-based auth with automatic key file management.
• Team & Identity Detection — Auto-discovers Team ID from Xcode preferences and provisioning profiles.
