Save as PDF

Set document font

Normalize an entire document to one font face and/or size in a click, preserving bold and italic styling.

Plain text mode

Switch any document to plain text only (saved as .txt) and back to rich text whenever you like — with unlimited undo.

Project mode

Open a folder to get a sidebar file tree, click through your files, and jump back via Recent Projects. Per-project theme & font settings.

16 light & dark color schemes — Xcode, GitHub, Solarized, Monokai, Dracula, Nord, One Dark, and more — applied app-wide or per project.

Syntax highlighting

Open code files and KinsWrite highlights them automatically — Swift, C/C++, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Go, Rust, and more. Switch the language or turn it off with a right-click.

Never lose work

Unsaved changes are flagged in the title and you’re prompted before closing — with optional recovery autosave to restore documents after an unexpected quit.
