What KinTime does
Start a timer in one click — 5, 10, 20 minutes, a length you type, or a time you want to be done. Run as many as you like, give each one a name and a color, and watch them on a HUD that stays out of your way.
It keeps time while it's closed
A timer is stored as the moment it started, not a ticking counter. Quit KinTime, restart your Mac, come back tomorrow — a running timer has been running the whole time, and one that ran out tells you so.
Start one in a click
5, 10 and 20 minutes are a button away, with 1, 15, 30 and an hour beside them. Type anything else — 7:30, 90, 1:05:00 — or count up with the stopwatch.
Or just say when
Pick a time and date instead of a length, and KinTime counts down to it. “Be done at 3:45” is a perfectly good way to set a timer.
As many as you need
Laundry, the oven, the parking meter and a Pomodoro, all at once. Each one has its own name, clock, end time and controls — and Pause all is one click.
It says when it ends
The HUD shows the time each countdown is up — “ends 4:35 PM” — not just how long is left, so you can plan around it without doing arithmetic.
Color-coded
Give a timer any color, from ten obvious ones or the macOS color picker. The digits switch between black and white automatically so they stay readable on whatever you choose.
Warnings with time to spare
Be told at 30, 15, 10, 5, 2 or 1 minutes left. The HUD flashes, a chime sounds, and a notice names the timer and when it ends.
A HUD that behaves
Park it in any corner or drag it anywhere, on any display, at any transparency, showing time left, elapsed, or the end time. It remembers all of it — and arrow keys move it out of the way.
Menu bar and Dock
The clock sits next to the menu-bar icon, and the Dock icon carries the same menu — so when the notch swallows the menu bar, your timers are still one right-click away.
Auto-updates
New versions arrive on their own, powered by Sparkle — you're always on the latest build.
